With the Database Manager interface, you can set up a brand new DB in a matter of seconds - just fill in its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your DBs and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to modify passwords, to create backup files and to even log into the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database administration tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite important to make frequent backups of your databases to secure your website content and to steer clear of any incidental loss of data. With the Database Manager interface, creating a database backup is very easy. Simply press the Backup button next to the database you would like to back up and you will be instantaneously taken to the File Manager section from where you can download your newly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can set up varies based on the shared hosting plan that you have chosen.
